My show sounds a bit like sassafras and succotash, like corn on the cob and an open prairie breeze kissing stalks of barely and rye. It's feel-good finger-plucking licks, click-clickety-frack of a railroad track. It's earnest, honest decency, and a dollop of down-home whimsikacy. There's lots of love, plenty of humor, and a generally sunny disposition, with a side of Pan-fried potatoes, cheese grits and butter, and of course, a not-so-careful collection of empty jam jars. Some timeless classics, some unheard gems, all perfectly off the beaten path. Not too sweet and still within the city limits. Its just a little folk for the urban folk.
